Astaios
Astaios was a minor figure in ancient Greek mythology. He was associated with Bia, the personification of force or power, and was often mentioned alongside her in mythological contexts. The exact nature of Astaios' relationship to Bia is unclear, but he is consistently depicted as her companion or helper. There is also some speculation that Astaios was an epithet or byname for a other personification of force, but most scholars link him to Bia as a distinct deity or semi-deity.
Astaios was described in ancient sources, such as the accounts of the Derveni Scroll, a well-preserved papyrus
In some translations of ancient texts, including a rare Hymn to Gaia, Astaios is mentioned alongside Bia
Despite Astaios' introduced role in some apircial cuts of the Greek pantheon, little work has been dedicated
