Asmanex is the brand name for inhaled mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid used for the long-term control of asthma. It is not a rescue inhaler and should be taken regularly to reduce airway inflammation. Asmanex is available in two main delivery systems: the dry powder inhaler Asmanex Twisthaler and the metered-dose inhaler Asmanex HFA.
