Asiinids
Asiinids are a family of extinct marine arthropods belonging to the order Trilobita. They are characterized by their distinctive dorsal shield, which is divided into three lobes longitudinally, a hallmark of all trilobites. Specifically, Asiinids are known for their relatively small size and a broad, rounded cephalon (head shield). The glabella, a raised central area on the cephalon, is typically prominent and often ovate in shape.
Fossil evidence of Asiinids is primarily found in Cambrian-aged rock formations. They are considered to be
