Ascia

The larval stage of Ascia moths, like other geometrids, often exhibits a characteristic inchworm-like movement. The caterpillars typically feed on plants within the Polygonaceae family, commonly known as the buckwheat family.
Adult Ascia moths are generally medium-sized with varied wing patterns and coloration, which can serve as camouflage
