Aránytalanság

Aránytalanság, also known as the "golden ratio" or φ (phi), is a mathematical concept that describes a specific ratio between two quantities. The ratio is approximately 1.618033988749895, where the larger quantity divided by the smaller is equal to the ratio of the sum of both quantities to the larger one. Mathematically, if the smaller quantity is *a* and the larger is *b*, then *a/b = (a+b)/a = φ*.

The golden ratio has been observed in various natural phenomena, including the arrangement of leaves, the branching of trees, the spiral patterns of shells, and even the proportions of human body parts. The golden ratio also appears in geometry, particularly in the properties of the golden rectangle, a rectangle whose side lengths are in the golden ratio. If a square is removed from one end of a golden rectangle, the remaining rectangle is also a golden rectangle, a self-similar property that makes it visually appealing.

While the golden ratio has been celebrated for its aesthetic qualities, its presence in nature and human-made structures remains a subject of ongoing scientific and artistic exploration. Some researchers argue that its perceived beauty is a result of human psychological conditioning, while others highlight its prevalence in natural patterns as evidence of a deeper underlying order.
