Arhatsbeings

Arhatsbeings refers to the concept of arhats, enlightened beings in some Buddhist traditions. The term "arhat" is derived from Sanskrit and translates to "worthy one" or "one who has destroyed their enemies." In Theravada Buddhism, an arhat is a being who has achieved liberation from the cycle of rebirth, known as samsara, by eradicating all defilements or afflictions. These defilements include greed, hatred, and delusion.

The path to becoming an arhat is typically described as following the Noble Eightfold Path, a set of guidelines for ethical conduct, mental discipline, and wisdom. Arhats are considered to have attained Nirvana, the ultimate state of peace and freedom. They are no longer subject to suffering and will not be reborn after death. Their primary focus is on attaining this liberation for themselves.

In contrast to Mahayana Buddhism's ideal of the Bodhisattva, who postpones their own final Nirvana to help all sentient beings achieve enlightenment, the arhat in Theravada is seen as having completed their spiritual journey. While they have achieved a profound state of wisdom and compassion, their focus is primarily on their own liberation. The term "arhatsbeings" is not a standard or widely recognized term within Buddhist scholarship, but it likely refers to these achieved individuals.
