Ardanuç
Ardanuç is a town and a district of Artvin Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The town is situated in a valley, surrounded by mountains. The Ardanuç River flows through the district. The area has a history dating back to ancient times, with evidence of settlements from the Urartian and Colchian periods. Later, it was part of the Kingdom of Georgia. The name Ardanuç is believed to derive from Georgian origins.
