Arcshaped

Arcshaped is an adjective used to describe anything that has the form or profile of an arc, that is, a segment of a circle's circumference connected by two endpoints. In geometry, an arc-shaped figure refers to a portion of a circle defined by a center, radius, and central angle; its curvature is constant along the arc, characterized by the radius of curvature. The term is often used for non-technical descriptions of objects and forms that approximate or deliberately adopt an arc, as opposed to a straight line or a full semicircle.

In design and architecture, arc-shaped elements appear in storefronts, arches, seating, and window openings, typically to soften edges, improve aerodynamics, or create visual rhythm. In product design, arc-shaped profiles appear in furniture, keyboards, screens, and piping, where the curve can influence ergonomics or aesthetics. In biology or anatomy, arc-shaped structures may describe curved bones, membranes, or other anatomical curves that resemble a segment of a circle.
