Aprikoos

Aprikoos is the Swedish word for apricot. Apricots are a fruit belonging to the Prunus genus, specifically Prunus armeniaca. They are typically round and orange-yellow in color, with a velvety skin. The flesh is soft and sweet, with a distinctive tangy flavor. The single large stone in the center contains a seed.

Sweden, while not a major apricot producer due to its climate, may see some cultivation in warmer microclimates or through imported fruits.
