Anyrättighetsbegränsning refers to a legal concept within Swedish law concerning limitations on an individual's rights, particularly in relation to the ownership and use of property. This concept is most prominently discussed in the context of immission rights, which pertain to the right of a property owner to enjoy their property without undue interference from neighboring properties.

The primary legislation governing this area is the Environmental Code (Miljöbalken). Section 2, Chapter 32 of the code establishes that property owners are generally entitled to take measures that are reasonable and necessary for the use and development of their property. However, this right is not absolute. It is subject to limitations if the measures cause unreasonable disturbance to neighboring properties or the environment. Such disturbances can include noise, vibrations, odor, or other forms of pollution.

When a conflict arises, Swedish law aims to balance the interests of the property owner seeking to utilize their land with the interests of neighbors who wish to enjoy their property peacefully. The concept of "neighborhood nuisance" (grannolägenhet) is central to this assessment. If a nuisance is deemed unreasonable, the affected party may have legal recourse, potentially including the right to demand that the offending activity cease or be modified.

The determination of what constitutes an "unreasonable disturbance" is made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account various factors such as the nature of the disturbance, its intensity, duration, and the local circumstances.
