Antroposofisk

Antroposofisk is a Swedish adjective describing something related to anthroposophy, a spiritual movement founded by Rudolf Steiner in the early 20th century. The term is used to label ideas, groups, or practices that originate in Steiner’s teachings.

Anthroposophy proposes a reality that includes spiritual dimensions alongside the material world. It holds that humans consist of a physical body and an inner spiritual nature, and that higher spiritual faculties can be developed through study, meditation, and ethical living. Core ideas include the existence of etheric and astral forces and an 'I' that persists beyond physical life; reincarnation and karma are part of its worldview.

Applications and related fields include Waldorf education (Steiner schools), anthroposophic medicine (which uses specialized diagnostics and remedies), biodynamic agriculture (a farming approach with spiritual and cosmic considerations), and contributions to the arts, architecture, and social philosophy.

Organizationally, anthroposophy is pursued through the Anthroposophical Society, with national and regional groups and international centers. The Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland, serves as a principal center for study, research, and cultural work.

In mainstream science and medicine, anthroposophy is viewed skeptically due to limited empirical support for some of its claims, and some practices have generated controversy. Proponents describe it as a spiritual science aimed at integrating science, art, and life.
