Antipsychiatry

The term "antipsychiatry" was first used in the 1960s by psychiatrist Thomas Szasz, who argued that the concept of mental illness was a social construct and that the practice of psychiatry was a form of social control. Since then, the movement has evolved and diversified, with various groups and individuals contributing to its development.
