Anthropocentricism

Anthropocentricism, also known as anthropocentrism, is a worldview that considers human beings to be the central or most significant entities in the universe. This perspective places humans at the pinnacle of importance, often implying that the natural world and all other species exist primarily for human use and benefit. It contrasts with ecocentric or biocentric viewpoints, which assign intrinsic value to all living organisms or to the ecosystem as a whole, respectively.
