Animatsioonile

Animatsioonile refers to animation in Estonian. Animation is the art of creating the illusion of movement through a sequence of still images. This can be achieved through various techniques, including traditional cel animation, stop-motion, computer-generated imagery (CGI), and motion graphics.

Traditional animation, often seen in classic cartoons, involves drawing each frame by hand. Stop-motion animation uses physical objects, such as puppets or clay figures, which are moved in small increments between individually photographed frames. CGI animation, prevalent in modern films and video games, utilizes computer software to create and manipulate digital models and environments. Motion graphics often involve animating text, logos, and abstract shapes for design and informational purposes.

The history of animation spans over a century, with early pioneers experimenting with optical toys and simple projected images. Over time, technology and artistic innovation have led to increasingly sophisticated and diverse forms of animated content. Animation is used in a wide range of media, including feature films, television shows, short films, advertisements, educational materials, and video games, captivating audiences of all ages with its unique storytelling capabilities.
