Anaplastische
Anaplastische refers to a type of tissue that has undergone anaplasia. Anaplasia is a term used in pathology to describe a process where cells lose their normal differentiation and revert to a more primitive, undifferentiated state. This loss of differentiation is a hallmark of malignancy, and anaplastic tumors are generally considered to be highly aggressive and have a poor prognosis. The cells in anaplastic tissue often exhibit significant nuclear abnormalities, such as irregular shapes, hyperchromasia (darkly stained nuclei), and increased mitotic activity. They may also vary in size and shape (pleomorphism).
Anaplastic changes can occur in various types of cancer, but they are particularly noted in anaplastic thyroid
