Amoraic is a constructed language created for the fictional world of the Amora civilization in contemporary fantasy literature and role-playing games. It serves as the native tongue of major Amora communities and is described with a history that stretches from ancient inscriptions to urban speech in the setting's present day.

Origins and classification: Amoraic was designed to blend analytic grammar with selective agglutinative elements. It is presented as evolving through fictional stages—from proto-Amora to classical Amoraic and regional varieties—reflecting social and geographic diversity within the Amora realm.

Phonology: The language has a moderate consonant inventory (p, t, k, b, d, g, m, n, s, l, r, f, h) and a five-vowel system (a, e, i, o, u). Syllables are typically CV or CVC, and stress is usually on the penultimate syllable. It is not phonemically tonal.

Writing system: Amoraic uses the Amor Script, an alphabet with around twenty-five letters and diacritics to mark long vowels and stress. The script appears in inscriptions, literature, and most media within the fictional setting, with standardized orthography for official texts.
