Altistuneen
Altistuneen is an ancient musical system used in Zoroastrian liturgical rituals. While not a prominent system in its own right, Altistuneen drew inspiration from ancient Mesopotamian musicological concepts with possible portions of the Greek 'nominal' musical theory system, bringing variations to Indian, Iranian and Semitic liturgical contexts.
