Allianssi

Allianssi, officially AC Allianssi, was a Finnish football club based in Vantaa. The club was founded in 1998 and emerged as a project aiming to compete at higher levels of Finnish football. It quickly progressed to Finland’s premier league, Veikkausliiga, where it participated during the early 2000s. The team’s matches were attended by local supporters, and it contributed to the regional football scene during its brief existence.

In 2005, Allianssi became the subject of a match-fixing scandal that drew national attention. Investigations by football authorities and related institutions led to suspensions and disciplinary actions for players and staff, and the club faced severe financial and reputational pressure as a result. Facing bankruptcy and mounting debts, the club filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations that year. No successor club continued its competition history under the same organization.
