Alliansregeringen
The Alliansregeringen, or Alliance Government, refers to a period in Swedish politics where four center-right political parties governed together. This alliance, known as The Alliance (Alliansen), consisted of the Moderate Party, the Centre Party, the Liberal People's Party (now the Liberal Party), and the Christian Democrats. The first Alliansregeringen was formed after the 2006 general election, ending eight years of Social Democratic rule. It was led by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt of the Moderate Party.
