Alkukerrokset

Alkukerrokset are a type of construction in Finnish architecture, specifically designed to be the foundation layer of a building. The term "alkukerrokset" literally translates to "base layers" or "pilotis" in English. This architectural feature serves several purposes, including providing structural support, ensuring building stability, and underpinning the load-bearing capacity of the entire edifice.
