Alilems

Alilems are a type of plant that belong to the genus Alisma, which is part of the family Alismataceae. They are aquatic or semi-aquatic plants that are commonly found in freshwater habitats such as ponds, lakes, and slow-moving rivers. Alilems are known for their distinctive, arrow-shaped leaves that grow from a creeping rhizome. The leaves are typically green and have a smooth surface, with parallel veins running along their length.

The fruit of the plant is a small capsule that contains numerous seeds. Alilems reproduce both sexually, through the production of seeds, and asexually, through the growth of new plants from the rhizome.

Alilems are often used in wetland restoration projects due to their ability to thrive in aquatic environments and their role in stabilizing soil and improving water quality.
