Algebralliset

Algebralliset is Finnish for algebraic and is used as an adjective in mathematics. The term describes objects, statements, or constructions that arise from algebra or that can be defined entirely by algebraic means. In Finnish texts one often encounters phrases such as algebralliset ilmaisut (algebraic expressions), algebralliset yhtälöt (algebraic equations) and algebralliset rakenteet (algebraic structures). The word serves to distinguish algebraic topics from analytic or geometric ones.

In a mathematical sense, algebraic means that an object can be described by algebraic operations or satisfies a polynomial relation.
