Alcinouss
Alcinouss is a genus of extinct marine reptiles that lived during the Late Triassic period, approximately 231 to 201 million years ago. The genus is known from a single species, Alcinouss macropus, which was discovered in the United Kingdom. Alcinouss is notable for its unique combination of features, including a long, slender body, a large head, and a pair of long, paddle-like limbs. These limbs are believed to have been used for swimming, and the animal is thought to have been a semi-aquatic predator.
The fossil remains of Alcinouss have been found in marine deposits, suggesting that the animal was adapted
Despite its unique features, Alcinouss is not well understood, and many questions remain about its biology
