Alaptörvényének

The Alaptörvény is the fundamental law of Hungary, serving as its constitution. It was adopted on April 25, 2011, and came into effect on January 1, 2012. The Alaptörvény replaced the previous constitution, which had been in place since 1949 with various amendments. It is structured into several "books" covering different aspects of the state and its citizens.
