Alapképzések
Alapképzések refers to undergraduate degree programs in Hungary. These programs typically last for three to four years and lead to a Bachelor's degree (alapdiploma). Alapképzések are the first level of higher education in the Bologna Process system, which is implemented in Hungary. These programs provide foundational knowledge and skills in a specific field of study. Upon successful completion of an alapképzés, graduates are qualified for entry-level positions in their chosen profession or can continue their studies in a Master's program (mesterképzés). The curriculum usually includes theoretical courses, practical training, and often a thesis or final project. Admission to alapképzések is generally based on secondary school leaving examination results (érettségi) and sometimes specific entrance exams organized by the higher education institutions. These programs are offered in a wide range of disciplines across various universities and colleges throughout Hungary.
