Akropong

Akropong, also known as Akropong-Akuapem, is a town located in the Eastern Region of Ghana, situated in the Akuapem Hills. It serves as the administrative capital of the Akuapem North Municipal District. The town is historically significant as the first capital of the Ashanti Empire and later became a center for missionary activity.
