Agricicolas
Agricolas is a term that can refer to several distinct entities, primarily historical and fictional. In Roman history, agricola was a Latin term meaning "farmer" or "cultivator of land." It was also the cognomen of Gnaeus Julius Agricola, a Roman governor of Britain in the late 1st century AD. His campaigns and administrative reforms are well-documented in the biography written by his son-in-law, the historian Tacitus. The name Agricola has also been adopted by various individuals and organizations throughout history, often to evoke a connection to agriculture or the land.
More recently, Agricolas is also the name of a popular board game designed by Uwe Rosenberg. In
