Agnigarh
Agnigarh is a circular fort located in Tezpur, Assam, India. The name "Agnigarh" translates to "Fort of Fire" and is derived from a legend associated with the epic Ramayana. According to local folklore, the fort was built by Banasura to protect his daughter Usha from a forbidden love affair with Aniruddha, the grandson of Lord Krishna. The entire fort was said to be surrounded by a wall of fire, making it impossible for anyone to enter.
