Aerosteon
Aerosteon is a genus of tyrannosauroid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. The name Aerosteon, meaning "air bone," refers to the bird-like pneumatic features found in its skeleton, particularly in the vertebrae and ribs. This pneumaticity, a common trait in birds and some theropod dinosaurs, suggests a lightweight skeleton and possibly a more active metabolism.
