Adósságátütemezés, also known as debt rescheduling or debt restructuring, is a process where a borrower negotiates with their creditors to alter the terms of an existing debt agreement. This typically involves changing the repayment schedule, interest rate, or the total amount owed. The primary goal is to make the debt more manageable for the borrower, preventing default or bankruptcy.

There are several reasons why an individual or a company might seek adósságátütemezés. These can include unexpected financial hardship, a significant decrease in income, unforeseen business expenses, or economic downturns.
