Adoptionsmodellen
The Adoptionsmodellen, often translated as the Adoption Model, is a framework used to understand and predict the acceptance and diffusion of new technologies, products, or ideas within a social system. It draws heavily from Everett Rogers' Diffusion of Innovations theory. The model typically categorizes individuals into different adopter groups based on their propensity to adopt innovations. These groups are usually innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, and laggards. Each group is characterized by distinct traits, motivations, and timelines for adoption.
