Administrimit

Administrimit is a concept denoting the act or practice of administering, i.e., organizing, directing, and coordinating resources and activities to achieve defined goals. It can apply to public institutions, private organizations, and non-profit entities.

In Romanian, the more common terms are administrare or administrație; administrimit appears only sporadically in some texts and is sometimes used to emphasize the performative or outcome-oriented aspect of administration. The root is the Latin administrare.

Scope: It covers governance, policy development, budgeting, human and material resources, procurement, compliance, risk management, and performance evaluation.
