Adatátvilágítási

Adatátvilágítási is a Hungarian term referring to the process of vetting or screening personal data to determine a person’s suitability for a particular role, access to restricted information, or eligibility for a public or regulated obligation. The adjective form adatátvilágítási describes the procedures, decisions, or data related to this background checking.

The procedure is typically used in contexts where security, integrity, or public trust is at stake. It is common in public administration, security services, defense, and other regulated professions, as well as in certain grant or procurement processes. The aim is to verify that an individual meets the required criteria and poses no disqualifying factors, such as a criminal record or other relevant background considerations, before appointment, assignment, or access is granted.
