Abszorpciója, often referred to in English as "absorption," is a fundamental physical and chemical process where one substance, known as the absorbate, is taken up by another substance, known as the absorbent. This phenomenon occurs at the interface between the two phases, such as between a liquid and a solid, a gas and a liquid, or a gas and a solid. Absorption differs from adsorption, where molecules adhere to the surface of a material rather than being incorporated into it.
