Abruzzesi
Abruzzesi are the inhabitants of Abruzzo, a region of central Italy on the Adriatic coast. The term is used for people from Abruzzo as well as for things associated with the region. The landscape combines parts of the Apennine mountains with a short coastline, including the Gran Sasso d’Italia. Abruzzo is divided into four provinces: L’Aquila (the regional capital), Chieti, Pescara, and Teramo.
The population is concentrated along the coastal plain and in major towns such as Pescara and L’Aquila.
