Abfassung

Abfassung is a German noun that denotes the act and result of composing a written text. It is used to describe the process of drafting or putting something into writing, as well as the text that emerges from that process. The term is most common in formal, literary, administrative, and legal contexts, where texts such as letters, reports, legal provisions, or treaties are prepared.
