Abecední

Abecední is a Czech adjective meaning alphabetical or ordered according to the letters of the alphabet. It is used to describe the arrangement of items in the sequence of the alphabet, or more broadly any order based on letter order. The corresponding adverb is abecedně, meaning alphabetically.

The term is derived from abeceda, the Czech word for the alphabet. Abeceda itself refers to the set of letters and their conventional order, and the adjective abecední is formed with the standard Czech suffix -ní. The concept is widely used across language, education, and information organization to denote a sequence based on letter order rather than other criteria.
