AVTransport
AVTransport is a service within the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) architecture, specifically part of the AVTransport service type. Its primary function is to control the playback of media content on UPnP AV (Audio/Video) devices. These devices, often referred to as Media Renderers, can include smart TVs, network media players, audio receivers, and game consoles. The AVTransport service allows a UPnP Control Point, such as a remote control application or a media server, to send commands to the Media Renderer to manage playback.
Key functionalities of the AVTransport service include starting, stopping, pausing, resuming, and seeking within media streams.
