The Finnish word “sarjat” translates to “series,” indicating that ASTMsarjat are organized sets of documents that cover specific areas of testing, specification, and performance criteria. Each series is identified by a letter prefix (for example, ASTM A, ASTM B, ASTM C, etc.) followed by a numerical designation.
