ASIACRYPT

Asiacrypt is a major international conference on cryptography that takes place annually in Asia. It is one of the three regional IACR (International Association for Cryptologic Research) conferences, alongside Eurocrypt and Crypto. The conference serves as a premier venue for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss their latest work in all areas of cryptology. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, symmetric cryptography, public-key cryptography, cryptanalysis, network security, privacy-enhancing technologies, and theoretical foundations of cryptography.

The first Asiacrypt conference was held in 1991 in Japan. Since then, it has rotated among various countries in Asia, including China, India, Korea, and Singapore, fostering a geographically diverse community. The event typically involves a program of peer-reviewed paper presentations, invited talks by distinguished cryptographers, and often includes tutorials and workshops on specialized topics. Proceedings of Asiacrypt are published by Springer-Verlag as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, making the research presented widely accessible.
