As the AQI increases, the potential health impacts for people increase. The AQI is an index, a number that runs from 0 to 500. When the AQI is 0 to 50, the air quality is considered good. When the AQI is 51 to 100, it is considered moderate. From 101 to 150, it is unhealthy for sensitive groups. A AQI from 151 to 200 is unhealthy.
