ABCD2skjemaet
ABCD2 skjemaet is a Danish medical assessment tool used to predict the risk of stroke and other cardiovascular events in patients who have experienced a transient ischemic attack (TIA), often referred to as a "mini-stroke." Developed in the late 1990s, the ABCD2 score is a widely used and validated system for assessing the severity and risk of future stroke events in TIA patients.
The ABCD2 score consists of five clinical variables:
* Age ≥ 60 years: 0 or 1 point
* Blood pressure: ≥140/90 mmHg: 0 or 1 point
* Clinical features of stroke: unilateral weakness, speech disturbance, or amaurosis: 1 point
