The 9M114 Shturm is a Soviet-designed anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system, developed in the late 1960s. The 9M114 missile is a wire-guided, semi-active laser homing missile. The missile has a maximum range of approximately 3,000 meters and can penetrate up to 500 millimeters of armor. The 9M114 Shturm system was widely exported and used by various countries, including China, Egypt, India, and Vietnam. It saw extensive use during the Soviet-Afghan War and the subsequent conflicts in the region. The system was also used by various proxy forces during the Iran-Iraq War.

Despite its effectiveness, the 9M114 Shturm system has several limitations. It requires a laser designator to guide the missile, which can be a logistical challenge in some environments.
