94981
94981 is a minor planet in the outer region of the asteroid belt, approximately 10 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 10 February 2002, by astronomers at the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search (LONEOS) in Flagstaff, Arizona. The object has a semi-major axis of 3.16 astronomical units (AU) and an orbital period of 5.69 years. Its orbit has an eccentricity of 0.17 and an inclination of 13.5 degrees relative to the ecliptic. The absolute magnitude of 94981 is 14.5, indicating a relatively small size for a main-belt asteroid. The object's spectral type is not well-determined, but it is likely a C-type asteroid, which are common in the outer asteroid belt and are thought to be primitive, undifferentiated bodies. As of now, no moons have been discovered orbiting 94981.
