3GSDI
3GSDI, also known as 3G-SDI, is a broadcast standard for transmitting uncompressed digital video signals. It is part of the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) 310M standard and is a successor to previous SDI (Serial Digital Interface) standards. 3G-SDI offers a higher data rate than its predecessors, specifically 3 Gbps (gigabits per second), which allows for the transmission of higher-resolution and higher-frame-rate video content.
This increased bandwidth is crucial for modern video production, enabling the transport of uncompressed 1080p video
