38 GHz refers to a specific frequency within the radio spectrum, precisely 38 billion cycles per second. This frequency falls within the millimeter-wave (mmWave) portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, which generally spans from 30 GHz to 300 GHz. Millimeter waves are characterized by their very short wavelengths, typically between 1 and 10 millimeters.

The 38 GHz band has garnered significant interest and application, particularly in the realm of wireless communications. Its high frequency allows for very large bandwidths, meaning it can carry a substantial amount of data.
