1500017000
1500017000 is a numbered minor planet located in the inner region of the central main asteroid belt. The object received its permanent number from the Minor Planet Center following the completion of its orbital solution in 2023. Prior to numbering, the asteroid was provisionally designated 2023 AB12 during the discovery observations made on 12 March 2023. The discovery was carried out by the Pan‑STARRS 1 survey at Haleakala Observatory, using a 1.8‑meter Schmidt camera and a 1.4‑giga‑pixel CCD camera array. Subsequent follow‑up observations from the Lowell Observatory and the European Space Agency’s Gaia mission confirmed the preliminary orbital elements, leading to the assignment of the permanent designation.
Orbital parameters from the JPL Small‑Body Database indicate that 1500017000 has a semi‑major axis of 2.35 AU,
