1465147
1465147 is a minor planet that received its permanent number from the Minor Planet Center after its orbit had been satisfactorily confirmed. The object was first observed by the Pan‑STARRS survey near Haleakala in Hawaii, and the initial discovery was recorded in 2014. Because it lies in the main asteroid belt, it travels its path around the Sun between Mars and Jupiter, following an orbit that is typical of many small bodies in that region. Its orbital period is roughly five Earth years, and the asteroid’s semi–major axis is near 2.8 astronomical units. The minor planet’s size is estimated to be a few kilometres across, based on its absolute magnitude of about 15 and a standard albedo assumption, though no detailed shape or surface composition studies have been published. As of the last update, the object has not yet been given an official name.
