13162
13162 is a minor planet in the asteroid belt, located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It was discovered on September 13, 1995, by astronomers Paul G. Comba and Joseph A. Dellinger at the Prescott Observatory in Arizona, United States. The asteroid is approximately 4.5 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of about 4.3 years. It orbits the Sun at an average distance of 2.6 astronomical units (AU), with an eccentricity of 0.13 and an inclination of 11.5 degrees relative to the ecliptic plane. The spectral type of 13162 is unknown, but its albedo, or reflectivity, is estimated to be around 0.25. The asteroid's rotation period is approximately 10.5 hours. As of now, no moons have been discovered orbiting 13162. The asteroid is named after the year of its discovery, 1995.
