ühinemisvabadusele

Ühinemisvabadus is the Estonian term for freedom of association. It is a fundamental human right that allows individuals to freely form and join groups, organizations, and associations for any lawful purpose. This right is recognized and protected in Estonia's Constitution and is considered essential for a democratic society.

The freedom of association encompasses the right to establish political parties, trade unions, religious organizations, cultural societies, non-governmental organizations, and any other type of group. However, any such restrictions must be proportionate and should not infringe upon the essence of the right itself.
